Those OG problem lists are a part of the syllabus that goes along with the course - if you're not taking the course, you won't have those lists.
But, you can recreate them pretty easily. :) All we mean by "benchmark" problems is this: problems that are in the mid-difficulty range for that type.
When you're starting to do OG problems, don't start with the lowest-numbered or the highest-numbered problems. Start somewhere in the middle. (The higher the number, the harder the problem.)
If you're struggling, move to lower-numbered problems. If the middle problems seem easy, move to higher-numbered problems. If they're just right, stick with them and work your way up. (This is the Goldilocks approach to using OG. :)
