Do a mix. When studying a particular chapter or book, you do want to do *some* OG problems (OG = Official Guide). But not all - you also want to save some for later.
So, say you're doing the Number Properties book. You read a chapter, you do the problems in the end of the chapter (printed in the NP book). Then you go try a couple of OG problems. Then you keep going chapter by chapter. Then you finish the book and go back to do a mix of OG problems from ALL of the chapters together (so that you're starting to learn to figure out what specific kind of problem a new problem is).
Then, later, after you've finished 2 books, 3 books, etc, you're going to start doing mixed sets of problems from ALL of the previous books. (Because the real test isn't going to tell you, hey, I'm about to give you a divisibility problem! :)
