implications of a score of 770

by Jane Tue Sep 18, 2007 12:46 am

I have just taken the GMAT and with the help of some Manhattan GMAT materials, I have gotten a score of 770 (Q 49, V 48). I am now wondering what the implications of such a score are. My guess was that a GMAT score above a low-700s really does not improve one's chance of getting into a top 10 school. Any input would be appreciated.

You're right.

So long as it's 700+, it really comes down to the rest of the application.
