if positive integer

If positive integer x is a multiple of 6 and positive integer y is a multiple of 14, is xy a multiple of 105?

(1) x is a multiple of 9.
(2) y is a multiple of 25.

the answer of this question is B,,

but my question how y is a multiple of 14 and in the same time a multiple of 25 ?! i couldnt understand the question !!

what's wrong with that?
... could be 14 x 25 = 350
... or could be 700, or 1050, or whatever

in fact, given ANY two numbers, it's straightforward to find a number that's a multiple of both of them -- just find their least common multiple (or even just multiply them together!).
