Idioms:capability of doing in Manhattan sc 6th

by JohnL587 Wed Apr 15, 2015 4:55 am

The idiom "capability of doing" is not preferred by GMAC,right?
I see it's wrong in Manhattan SC 6th chapter 9 Idioms:
WRONG:The manager HAS THE CAPABILITY OF RUNNING the plant.
But in the solution of Problem Set,it mentioned that it's right.
4.
(b) Unlike humans and guinea pigs, most mammals have the capability of synthesizing
Vitamin C from glucose, a simple sugar. (have the capability of doing) RIGHT
It confuses me.

Can you provide page numbers of these examples so we can look them up and clarify? I couldn't find the first one in the text.

this is the wrong folder for posts about the strategy guides. please re-post your question in the "MGMAT non-CAT verbal" folder.
