Idiom question

by BK87 Wed Feb 22, 2017 9:54 pm

I'm unsure the correct idiom for this sentence:

"In that time, Dan has made multiple internal transfers of increased responsibility.....

Should it be "increased responsibilities?", "increasing responsibilities?".....Should it be "with" instead of "of?"

Very tricky sentence for me. Appreciate any help!

i have no idea what that sentence is even supposed to mean.

i'm looking at the phrase "internal transfer" and thinking it means transferring money from one account to another within the same financial institution(?) ...but trying to combine that with the idea of "increased responsibility" is nonsense.

in any case, the point of this forum is to address issues in actual GMAT-related items.

so:

• if this problem is actually from a GMAT-related source that's allowed on this forum (see list in the rules post, at the top of this folder), then, please post the ENTIRE problem, exactly as originally provided, including all answer options (as per the forum rules) along with your question.

• if this is just some random sentence from a source that's unrelated to the GMAT (and/or a random sentence that you made up yourself), then, it is irrelevant to the GMAT and won't be addressed here.

thank you.
