i freeze during Quant

by arambhan.snehin Tue Sep 10, 2013 1:25 am

Hi,

I'm having a lot of trouble with quant.
In the quant section, during all my practice tests, i end up freezing, my mind goes blank. As a result, i end up wasting un-needed time on these sums. So i think, alright, maybe these sums are tough.
But the annoying bit is, when im reviewing my test, i solve all these sums, the ones that i wasted time on and eventually got wrong, in under 2 mins with no sweat.
I don't get it. I'm not nervous during the test or anything and it's not that i don't know how to solve these sums either.

Is there anyway i can overcome this subconscious nervousness ?

Thanks,
Snehin

A lot of people get nervous during the test and it affects their performance. You're not alone!

I've had some students report good results from this:

Try it and tell me what you think.
