Hi, am from Brazil. I am here because I would like some advices...
I am studying to GMAT since August. My first test was terrible, I scored 400 (Q26, V20). Since then I am evolving. I have achieved in the official GMATPrep520 (Q39, V23), 560 (Q39, V28) and now, in the MGMAT 580 (Q37, V33). However, I need to take, at least, 640 in the official day.
My exam is on December 16. Is my last date because of the second rounds deadlines, thus I cannot postpone.
I have studied through GMAT Prep now (videos), OG13, GMAT Prep (I bought 400 questions) and now I started using the Manhattan Books (I am reading now the book of SC and RC).
My day is read some chapters, thus take some exercises and revise carefully. PS.: I am working part time, so I am studying about three/four hours daily.
Verbal definitively is my problem, once I am non English native (of course, I believe you realized that through my text). Sentence Correction and Reading sometimes could be challenge for me because of the vocabulary and the speed required in read.
I believe that with my vocabulary is impossible to achieve more than 35 in the Verbal Section. So I am planning focus my energy in the Math section by trying to improve it to more than 45.
Here are my doubts.
Is it sufficient time (1 month and a half) to improve my score to 640?
Is my strategy of focusing in the Math section a good movement?
Am I doing something wrong? Some advice/motivation could be nice ;)
