I wouldn't do many (if any) OG questions before the course starts. Some people do like to read through the strategy guides and do some of the in-action problems (printed in each chapter) before the class starts, especially if it has been a while since you've done this type of math.
There are also drills and materials for more foundational math materials, in case you want some additional practice to get up to speed BEFORE you start using the red strategy guides. Look under "Class Resources" in your Student Center for "Foundations of Math." Actually, I'd start here and then, if you feel fine with this stuff, you can move up to the red strategy guides.
Take one CAT exam sometime in the couple of weeks before class starts - that's it. And don't do the online question bank stuff before class starts.
