HI Need help

by venkatravinder Fri Oct 29, 2010 5:56 am

HI Team

I have written gmat twice and got very less scores in both the tests
First time i got 590,and after a three month preparation and seeing my scores cross 650 consistently in Manhattan tests i booked my date and got a terrible 530 :(
I don't know what went wrong in my preparation but the output was terribly wrong.
So i decided to write GMAT for the last time, now my question is whether the schools would accept a third time gmater or not.
Lets assume that i have got a decent score this time, then what is the acceptance rate that i would have when compared to others and what are the chances of me getting into the top notch schools.

hi venkatravinder
As far as i know, most of the B schools accept most recent GMAT score. So even if you are taking GMAT 3rd time, your admission will be subjected to your profile and your most recent score.

IMHO, most school accept your highest GMAT score.

However, you should check the websites of schools you are targeting. You can write them as well to get clarity.

Hi venkatravinder,

Traditionally schools will only look at your highest score, so the number of times you take the test is not relevant.

Good luck!
