help

Whether can I take an integer as a terminable decimal?
'coz I met a question asking: is r/s is a terminable decimal? r and s are integers. In this case, when r is a multiple of s, the result of the formula is an integer
thx for any explanation you can give

Integers can be considered as terminating decimals. So in your question:

1) Is r/s a terminating decimal given r and s are integers - Answer is it may or may not (5/2 is a terminating decimal whereas 5/3 is not terminating decimal).
2) Is r/x a terminating decimal given r is a multiple of s - Answer is it will be a terminating decimal (because r/s can be easily reduced to some number which could be a decimal or integer but for sure it will be a terminating decimal).
