GMAT

I noticed that Stanford GSB / HBS ask how many times you take the GMAT. Is it correct to infer that for these programs, taking teh test multiple times negates your candidacy?

Thanks

Thank you for your inquiry.

As a general rule, schools will accept your highest score on the GMAT. Still, schools are interested in how many times you have taken the test. Essentially, the number of times and proximity of the test dates can help tell a story - on the negative side, one of a compulsive test-taker, but on the positive side, one of an individual who learned and strived for more.
