GMAT Scores

by shuo.zhang.us Sat Jun 09, 2012 12:41 pm

When we apply to bschools, do the schools we apply to see scores for ALL of our GMAT exams, as well as when we took the test? In other words, we cannot pick and choose which scores they see?

And do they see the breakdown of quant/verbal/AWA/IR scores and percentiles? Do schools pick the best overall score?

Thanks!

Hi! Most schools will only look at your highest score, so the rest will not matter. In addition, they do see the breakdown, and they often zero in on the quant score in particular. The AWA score is something they use to test your writing ability and to gauge your proficiency in language.

Best of luck,
