GMAT related question

Hi.
I took gmat for the first time today and scored 730 - 96 percentile
47 in quant - 81 percentile
44 in verbal - 97 percentile

I am aiming for the top schools. What i wanted to know was whether the low score in quant will hamper my application?

Thank you for your inquiry.

The benchmark for GMAT excellence is generally a 700 with an 80th percentile score on both the quantitative and verbal sides. You really have nothing to worry about in terms of your score. In fact, your score is excellent.
