GMAT iPhone Application

by anatkramer Wed Jan 28, 2009 8:24 am

Good Morning,

I was searching for an iPhone GMAT application online and I found this : http://www.watermelonexpress.com/
Has anybody tried it? Have an opinion of it?
Also, when is Manhattan GMAT going to release it's own iPhone application? It would be very convenient.

Thanks,
Kramer

Hi anatkramer,

I haven't personally tried that application, but I know one of our Instructors downloaded as many of them as he could find and said they were all pretty so-so. ManhattanGMAT would LOVE to have an iPhone application up. We currently have something in the works, so if you know of an iPhone Developer who can work on spec, send them to michael@manhattangmat.com.

I downloaded this to my iphone. It is good in the sense that it is more convenient than carrying the OG around. It is weak in the number of questions presented. I also think the style of some of the questions differs from the GMAT. I still lean towards recommending it though, just for the simple reason that it keeps your mind active and thinking during down times (i.e. standing in line, etc)

We are definitely working on this! I haven't seen the one that you linked, so I can't comment on its usefulness, but if other users have used it, let us know what you thought.

I don't know when we might have a solution out for this particular tool, but I'll see if I can get an ETA.
