GMAT in mid august

by 033.gaurav Fri Mar 18, 2011 10:25 am

Hi,
I was planning to take GMAT exam in june'11. But due to certain official commitments, my calendar is blocked from May - July.
I have just started with the preparations.
Wanted advice on the tentative period to take the test - Late April or Mid August.
Is Mid august too late, and would I be missing out on a lot if I take the test during that time?

Thanks,
Gaurav

Hi Guarav,

Even if you want to apply for Round 1 for class of 2014, taking the GMAT in August should not present any issues. Of course if you're unhappy with your score and want to take it again, you may find yourself short on time. If you are unable to take the exam or work on your application at all over the summer, then Round 1 could be tough to meet, but not impossible.

Good luck!
