GMAT - First Attempt - 750 - Big thanks to Manhattan GMAT

by dutta.soham Fri Sep 26, 2014 7:47 am

Hi All,
I am from Mumbai, India and I appeared for the GMAT on the 21st of Sep, 2014. I achieved a score of 750 (Q 50, V 41) on my first attempt. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Manhattan for their wonderful guides and CATs. I was neither a Manhattan classroom student nor an online one. I relied only on the strategy guides and the OGs for my preparation.
Also the Manhattan CATs were excellent from the perspective of the quality of questions. However, I found the level of the actual GMAT quant to be much easier than that of the MGMAT CATs. My CAT scores were :

1st : 680
2nd : 680
3rd : 680
4th : 680
5th : 720
6th : 700

GmatPrep 1 : 750. (I didn't appear for GmatPrep 2)

As you can see, my scores in the actual GMAT were identical to that of GMATPrep test. However the questions in Manhattan CATs are excellent for prep and builds you up for the real test.
Can anyone let me know the kind of colleges in India/US I can apply to. I mean the programs for which I stand a chance to gain admission. I have around 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
