Funds available from schools are either need or merit-based. Your GMAT score would have no bearing at all on your need of course. In terms of merit, generally "speaking", schools are seeking to attract the best overall candidates and are trying to give them incentives to choose their own programs and not choose others. So, if you have a high GMAT score, there could be increased competition for you as a candidate, as schools can be "stats-driven". Still, like the MBA admissions process, the merit-based financial aid process is fairly holistic. Further, there are niche scholarships for certain professionals, members of certain nationalities, etc. which are clearly less "stats-driven".
