GMAT 620 and low GPA

Hello,

I have scored a dismal 620 in my GMAT, my GPA is utmost average ... however I do work as a technologist (Sr. Developer) in a leading Investment bank ... do you think I would be able to make to NYU stern Part time MBA program or should I retake GMAT, if so what should be my target.

Please advice.

FYI => Last year NYU rejected me ... I had a GMAT score of 580.

Hi Gerald,

A 620 GMAT is right at the bottom of the middle 80% GMAT range at Stern part-time, so it will likely be seen as a weakness. If you Stern part-time is your goal, you may want to prepare for the GMAT one more time, focusing heavily on Verbal, as that is where it seems there is the most opportunity for you.
