Re: Re: I am confusing with the answer 'E'

your chart has five non-subscribers. that's one-third of the entire population. certainly this qualifies as "many".

if you're objecting, then, presumably, your objection is based on the idea that "many" can't mean 1/3 of the people.
don't.

these problems will NEVER, EVER depend on nit-picking the definitions of "many" or "some".

if this is a sticking point for you, simply ignore the words "many" and/or "some" when you see them, and evaluate the rest of what's there.

the only thing that's precise here is that "most" means "more than half".

also, much more importantly—

you can't just "criticize choice E". if you're going to reject one answer, then you have to support some OTHER answer that you think is actually better.

so... what other answer choice did you have in mind?

I think it's this part down there makes the test taker to think that the findings down there is limited to subscribers only(and not all subscribers)
so confusing...

Finding of a survey of advertisers in Systems magazine: Most of the merchandise orders placed in response to advertisements in Systems last year were placed by people under age thirty-five.

^^ why?
the ads will reach everyone who looks through the magazine, not just subscribers.
