Explanations to OG 13th Edition Verbal & Math

by cavalli27 Mon Apr 29, 2013 8:05 pm

Hello,

I had purchased all the MGMAT strategy guides for both Verbal & Quant sections (4th edition) last year and have yet to take the actual test. I have a few questions :

1. After reviewing all the topic guides, I am starting to do questions from the OG. If i want more clarification, do you have an OG Verbal Answer Guide (I am using 13th edition GMAT Review) ?

2. I believe you have the OG Archer which provides explanations for the Quant section of the 13th edition GMAT Review. Is this correct? ?

3. I aim to score 700+ on the actual test. Do you think that i should do questions from GMAT Quant Review and GMAT Verbal review guides?
I bought 1 of the 3 official guides - but did not buy these other 2. What do you suggest?

Thank you !

OG Archer does provide explanations for OG13 quant questions, yes. I am actually in the middle of writing the book for OG13 SC explanations - but I don't believe the book will be published until August or September. (All I know is that the text is due in 1 month - but then publishing takes over and I don't know how long that whole process takes!)

OG Archer does also contain video explanations for a number of quant and verbal problems, though not all of them. Currently, there are about 300 videos (out of 900 OG13 questions). We do keep adding those, but only a few a week. The hardest SC and CR questions, though, have explanation videos, and we'll be working more on RC soon.

It's not necessary to buy the other two books, no. The most important thing is to make sure that you're studying in a high-quality way. Take a look at this article:

There are also some good resources here (some of them are the same as in the above article):

Good luck - let us know how it goes!
