Eval. Question

by Dav.lee777 Wed Aug 03, 2011 2:18 am

Hello I just had a question about admission.

I have a GPA and GMAT score in the bottom half of the 80% range.

My work exp. has a few promotions, and I worked at a big 4.

I'm seeking an IMBA becuase I spent a year outside of the US and feel it would be the best for me.

Looks like the program I want has an acceptence rate of 40%.

What do you feel my chances are for this program?

Hi Dav.lee,

Unfortunately there just isn't enough information here for me to make an assessment. I would want to know your actual GMAT scores, GPA and college, what programs you are targeting, what you've achieved in your job and any extracurricular programs you're involved in, and that's just to start.

If you supply this information I'll provide my initial assessment.

Best of luck,

Daniel Richards

Hi Dav

As you noted you are in the bottom half of the 80% range for your target school, but I think your case would be helped with a stronger GMAT score. Right now both your GMAT and GPA are going to draw scrutinty, so if you can raise the test score you'll be in better shape. Also you should expand on the why International? aspect you mentioned in your essays.

Best of luck,
