Essay feedback

by Jamil Wed Mar 02, 2011 1:34 am

I am interested in meeting USC's 3rd round deadline (March 15th) to attend their Enterpreneurship or Managment program. I'm interested in USC because of Geographic location convenience, because I was interested in courses offered and I admire thier network. I would like feedback regarding the following:
- What kind/type of reasons are encouraged when answering "why USC?"
- Does MAnahattan GMAT provide resources to review essays and resume?

Thanks

Hi Jimmy,

Thanks for writing in. The "Why USC" portion is your chance to show why the school uniquely fits your needs, and that you've done the research that proves this. Here you can mention clubs you're interested in, how you would look to improve them, and maybe student leaders from those clubs you've met with. Did you visit campus? If so, what about your visit made you want to attend? Is there a specific course, concentration or professors that holds appeal for you?

This is your chance to get specific and show that you did more than just read the web site.
