ooh, yet another victim of your own sense of urgency. remember that when you reply to your own post your question gets bumped to the end of the line. also remember that we have office hours and private tutoring for the truly urgent questions; there are a lot of students using this free service, and when you post here, you have to accept the fact that it could take a while to get your answer..
1) "secure" can be followed by prepositions, just not "about". "with" is one that comes to mind..
2) The incorrect version makes it sound like the seniors are with 25% of the student body, when actually they comprise 25%. In other words the seniors ARE 25% of the student body, but the "with" makes it sound like they are alongside 25% of the student body..
