Source : Made up

Argument : Ram scored a 760 on the GMAT. This shows Ram is going to Harvard.

If true, does the following weaken

Answer) Ad-coms often judge applicants by criteria other than their GMAT scores

Does this weaken the argument in your view ?

The gap in the argument is "does a GMAT score of 760 ensure someone will go to Harvard?". Knowing the value of GMAT relative other factors seems to be useful, so that I'd say that your suggested answer does weaken the argument. However, there's a bit of vagueness around 'often'; a real GMAT problem might weaken more clearly.
