Does the GMAT IR calculator let you type in numbers?

by MercedesR608 Sat Nov 19, 2016 6:27 pm

As I'm taking more and more CATS, I'm realizing how much using the calculator can slow me down. Does anyone know if the GMAT calculator is responsive to keyboard commands? For example, can we type in 220,000,000 on our keyboard or do we need to click each number with the mouse? I am also curious if you can use keyboard commands to multiply, divide, add, etc.

Any guidance would be most appreciated. Thanks!

i actually don't know the answer to this; you may want to contact GMAC's customer service division.

more importantly, though, there's no real way in which this could affect your performance on the exam. (we're talking about a difference of at most a few seconds.)
...but, if you find out the answer to this question, you could post it here anyway (in case there are other readers who want to know). thanks.
