Does the actual GMAT test software show time remaining?

by lapennm Tue Mar 03, 2009 3:41 pm

Just read the fine print on my GMAT test admission email and learned that I will not be able to take my lap timer along.... Can someone tell me whether the actual test software shows the test time remaining like the MGMAT Practice tests do?

True, you cannot bring anything in with you: no calculator, no watch, no pen and paper.

Yes, the actual GMAT will show you the time remaining for each section. This clock counts down the remaining time. You can hide the clock if you wish, so that it is not a distraction to you. However, I recommend that you leave it there and just check it after every five to ten problems, to make sure that you are pacing yourself.

Thanks Jonathan! Seemed unlikely they wouldn't make us fly completely blind but appreciate the confirmation and recommendation.
