Divisibility and Primes: If 6 is not a factor of d

Just a quick question: For the problems in Divisibility and Primes,
do we have to assume that the terms in questions are always
integer?

For e.g. Q. 9 says: " If 6 is not a factor of d, is 12d divisible by 6" ?
The answer is YES (as per the explanation). But this is only if 'd' is an integer?

Look at the instructions at the top of that page. They say "all variables in problems #1 through #11 are assumed to be integers unless otherwise indicated." So, in this case, you are actually told that d is an integer.

On the test you should NOT assume anything. If they don't tell you something is an integer, then it doesn't have to be.
