I thought the answer is a, but its b. I could not understand. Please help me.

hello -

this is clearly not an OFFICIAL problem from the GMATPREP SOFTWARE. those are the only problems allowed in this folder.

* you should re-post this problem in the General Verbal folder, with a citation of the source. you can't post unsourced problems.

* none of the choices here are correct. (b) is intended as the correct answer, but it contains a flagrant pronoun error (which causes the sentence to say that the floor itself has windows in it).
whatever source this problem came from -- unreliable source. not good.

I don't find any problem with A and its actually a KAPLAN problem

Kaplan is a banned source here. Please read (and follow!) forum guidelines when posting.

In addition, this problem has most likely been transcribed incorrectly. There are errors in the non-underlined portion of the sentence. The very first word of the sentence (which is not underlined) is wrong.
