Hi, my question is two-fold.
First, does the GMAT first score V and Q, then assign the percentile ranking, or vice versa? Secondly, I got a 680 on my first GMAT Prep test, which it ranked as 85th percentile. On the MGMAT test I took a few days earlier, I got a 670, which ranked in the 89th percentile. The GMAT Prep scores line up exactly with the percentiles that MBA.com lists here: http://www.mba.com/the-gmat/gmat-scores ... means.aspx.
So I'm wondering...would my 670 (89th percentile according to MGMAT) have been more like a 690-700 for the actual GMAT? But, that doesn't line up with what I've read, that MGMAT's algorithm might be inflating scores 10-20 points right now.
