cpa / cfa

thank you in advance for answering my question,

i was wondering if these type of credentials (cpa/cfa) have any bearing on admission to an mba program and which one, if either, is given more weight. i know the easy answer is that they certainly can not hurt, but i was wondering if they are grouped into work experience or if they are looked at separately? what is your opinion/s on the matter? thanks again.

Professional credentials can matter insofar that they help you with your career -- you get a CPA in order to be an accountant, or you get a CFA when working in investment management. However, the credentials alone really don't mean a whole lot. in other words, they are a function of your work experience.
