Cornell AMBA program

by gaurav_chadha19 Tue Mar 20, 2012 5:22 pm

All,

I recently got admitted to the AMBA program at Cornell. My background is in technology with about 6 years of experience in software development and project management. How would you rate this program in terms of helping me to move into product management in high-tech sector or more business strategy roles in technology companies?

Any insights are welcome.

Thanks for your help!

Congratulations on being accepted! It's a great program. I would start by looking over this latest Employment Report for Accelerated MBAs, which you can find at this web address:

http://www.johnson.cornell.edu/Career-M ... -MBAs.aspx

That report will show you the percentage of students in the AMBA program who were looking for employment post-MBA, how many got hired and in what broad industries. I also suggest calling the career services office and ask to speak to someone about your career goals.

I hope this helps.

Best of luck,

Rachel Beck
