Coming to Mumbai!

by StaceyKoprince Wed Aug 15, 2012 9:57 pm

Hi, everyone

Just wanted to let you know that I'm coming to Mumbai in September to teach a GMAT class! (Assuming we get enough students signed up**.) I'm really excited; I've never been to India.

You can find the details here: http://www.manhattangmat.com/mumbai-prep.cfm

So if you're one of the students who's been asking me, "Hey, when are you guys going to start holding classes in India?" - here's your answer!

Happy studying. :)

[edited to add] FYI, the deadline for signing up is August 29th - if you do want to join (or are thinking about it and have questions), please let us know before then! Otherwise, if we don't have enough students, the class won't run. :(

This is awesome Stacey! I hope you have a good time. I live in Mumbai and the city is usually very welcoming towards foreigners. Have you made any plans to travel or is this trip strictly business? If you do, definitely get a hold of Lonely Planet India (I always reccommend this book to all my friends)

As an indian, I would suggest that you take all necessary vaccinations. Since this is your first trip, make sure you only drink mineral water and always remember to bargain when shopping! There may still be rain in September so you may want to consider bringing your windcheater/umbrella or alternately buy one when you get here.
