Changing GMAC Account

by AsadA969 Sun Aug 03, 2014 4:15 am

I took the GMAT 2 months ago but my score is so poor. I'll take the GMAT within 2 months. As per I know, when I'll send my "Highest" GMAT score in Business School then all the scores with my "poor Score" (which I took previous) will be send to my expected business school. Will the poor score hamper in getting chance in University?

or, Should I open "New" account in mba.com to eradicate tension?
Help me by giving a proper explanation.
Thanks.

You can't open a new account - one person can have only one account. If anyone tried to fool them to the point of getting fake ID, they would know when they took the person's palm scan. Not to mention, then you'd have to apply to b-school and live your life under a new name! :)

All of this is unnecessary anyway because b-schools care only about your highest score. Yes, they can see all of the scores, but they really don't care.

When you apply, they ask you for the information from your highest score - you self-report this. Then, sometime during the application review, they will usually give a student intern a stack of applications and have them log into the database to verify that the score you reported is really a score that you earned. That's all.

So, as long as you do get a score that you like in the future, you're fine!

Actually, I've no intention to open any fake ID. I just wanted to delete/remove/unsubscribe my previous ID so that I can have a new score.
From your solution, I came to know that there is no need to open a new account.
Thanks Stacey Koprince. I've got my answer.
