Can you hide the time on the real gmat?

On the Mgmat exams we can hide the ticking clock. Can this be done on the real thing?

Sweet. There's something about that clock ticking that makes the whole environment more stressful.

I know - I actually don't mind for most of the test, but those last few minutes, I find myself just watching the clock and not doing anything! :)
