Can I ignore instructions and just sit there and relax?

by byuwadd Mon Oct 22, 2012 4:18 pm

I know the GMAT Prep has several pages of instructions. Is the real test the same and can I use the time allotted to reading instructions to relax and let my brain rest on the official test? Also, am I allowed to use that time to write down timing benchmarks on my notepad?

Yes, you can just sit there and relax. Technically, no, you are not supposed to write during those sections. You can try, however - if someone tells you to stop, then stop, that's all!
