Better Than - Idiom Example

by salesh.aswani Mon Jul 29, 2013 6:34 am

Hi,

As part of my notes on SC i wrote an example for the idiom "Better...than..." a while back as below,

e.g. INSEAD has a better MBA Program than Emory Goizueta.

But while reviewing this example I think the same is not correct and the correct example for the Idiom "Better....than...." will be,

e.g.1. INSEAD has a better MBA Program than MBA Program at Emory Goizueta.

or

e.g.2. INSEAD has a better MBA Program than Emory Goizueta's.

Please let me know if my understanding above is correct.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Regards,
Salesh.

hi,
wrong folder for this problem. i'll give a brief answer, but you'll have to post in the correct folder (= general verbal questions) if you want more details.
* the original version is correct.
* revision #1 is wrong because "at..." is not parallel to anything.
* revision #2 is not really ok, but not for any reason that will be tested on the gmat.
