Hi there,
I am planning to retake my GMAT in few days. I intend to apply to LBS. Pls advise how much AWA is important for applying to LBS and other top business schools. What is the minimum AWA one must aim for.

Hi Punzo,
AWA is usually given minimal weight in an application decision, and may be brought in as a tiebreaker between equal candidates. While there is no minimum standard, AWA can be a reflection for non-English speakers, and can either confirm or negate the impact of a poor Verbal GMAT performance. If you have a solid Verbal GMAT for the school you are applying to -- I think a 4.5+ AWA should be OK.
