AWA and essays

Hi,

My GMAT is 720 and AWA - 4.5

I am confident about my essays, but am worried over the relatively low 4.5 AWA, how do I cover for the mismatch between AWA score and well written essays? Should I openly tell them the AWA is by no means a reflection of my writing skills..

Thank you for your inquiry.

A 4.5 AWA score is something that will probably not even register with the AdCom. Generally, they are seeking to identify enormous discrepancies. If you had a 1.5 and your essays were strong, then they would take a good look at your AWA essays. I would not spend any time worrying about this...
