Art student with BFA degree looking to apply for MBA

by Lemon Tue Jan 15, 2008 2:12 pm

I'm thinking of signing up for MGMAT prep, however I have some concern about my BFA degree. I graduated from Pratt Institute, NY, but I never took classes in calculus, accounting, economic while I was doing my BFA. Will I have trouble getting into MBA? I want to apply for Babson fast track program, do you think I have a chance if I can get my GMAT score over 700? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't have an analytical/quant background, it really comes down to your GMAT. Of course if you have time, by all means take 2 or 3 courses in stats, calculus, algebra, etc. at a local community college to build an alternative transcript (but this really isn't necessary if you do well on the GMAT).
