Advanced GMAT Quant strategy

by bharti Fri Jun 21, 2013 6:02 am

Hello,

I plan to purchase this book in India and I found out that it is available on some online book websites. I just want to confirm if the book comes with the access code for GMAT online tests?

I saw a similar query by someone on the forum wherein the person purchased the book and did not see any code....the link to that query is advanced-gmat-quant-strategy-supplement-online-access-t13695.html

Can someone please confirm? many thanks.

Regards
Bharti

The Advanced Quant book does not come with access to the online practice tests. It comes with online access to additional practice questions and a drill set.

All legally printed books do have an access code for additional online materials, though the specific materials available vary by book. If someone is pirating the books, or selling already-used books, then those books wouldn't have a working access code. I hope that's not what's happening.

You can find a list of our authorized resellers here:
http://www.manhattangmat.com/intl-book-stores.cfm#india

The Strategy Guide books come with access to the online practice tests. You might want to look at the Store section of our website; the product page for each book tells you exactly what that book contains and what online resources are included. Then you'll know what you're ordering (and do make sure you're ordering from an authorized reseller).

Hi Stacey,

Is it possible to buy Advanced Quant Guide as an e-book? It will take a lot of time to ship to India, and is unavailable as a hard copy in any of the stores.

I believe any of our books are available in e-form, but the best people to ask: our student services team. Send an email to gmat@manhattanprep.com and they will let you know all of your options.

You may also want to look in our online store (if you haven't already) - it may just be listed as an option / product to buy right there.

Hello,

I am a full online-course student and have received all the prep books via post. However I do not see the Advanced GMAT Quant book as a hard copy, nor do I see it online in the student center. The Home Work section does ask me to refer to questions from the Advanced section. Was it missed in my course package?

Thanks!

Nope, you didn't miss it. We only give it out to people who ask for it, since most people should not be studying from it. :) (It's intended for people who are already scoring about 46-47 and are looking to hit 50-51.)

If you're in the course, all you have to do is call up and request it (though if you are not already scoring at a relatively high level, I would not recommend doing this, at least not right now). You have free access to the e-book and I believe you can get a hard copy by paying for shipping or something like that.

Thank you. That answers my question.
