Academic References for Masters Application

Hi everybody,

I want to apply for a "Quantitative Finance" masters on continental Europe.
As part of the application process, i need to attach 2 letters of recommendation.

1) Should i include 2 letters abouth math classes?

or...

2) 1 letter abouth math and another LoR about something different?

I have a pretty good reference from a famous Management prof from my university, but i fear
that it does not necessarily have parallels with a QFin programme.
However, the second LoR from another math class is not on par with the LoR about my Management class....

Hi there,

I would say you could go either way, and you should think a lot about who you feel would write you the better letters! As well as show your skill and interest in mathematics and finance. Often content matters more than title. Let us know if we can help further, and good luck!
