MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY...

• it is SUPER straightforward to use parallelism here (as you have already pointed out)

and...
• this type of sentence will ALWAYS have parallelism. (you can't write 'the more xxxxx, the more likely yyyyy' unless you actually have parallel ideas xxxxx and yyyyy.)

in other words, it's pretty much a waste of your time to pursue these choices beyond basic parallelism.

as for choice C... choice C is not a thing at all. in fact, i can't make any correct sentence that looks like choice C.
so, i really can't give you any meaningful analysis of it, beyond saying that it's not a thing.

as i wrote above, though, it's a waste of time to break down choice C—you can just use parallelism, which is absolutely guaranteed to exist in any sentence like this one.
