800score compared to mgmat

by puri.rishav Fri Jun 19, 2009 12:57 am

i am scoring considerably higher (40-50) on the 800 score test compared to mgmat. How much of it is because mgmat is harder vs. iam improving?

I am thinking about using 800score's CATs as well and would appreciate some comments on the quality of its CATs.

I haven't taken them and don't know how they've been built - and, even if I did, it's tough to compare tests made by different people on different algorithm engines.

In general, if you are trying to determine whether you're making progress, or what kind of progress you're making, you should look at your scores (and strengths and weaknesses) within tests of the same type - all MGMAT, all 800score, all GMATPrep, whatever. It's very difficult to try to compare across different tests.
