710 on gmat but pathetic score on AWA

hi,

just gave my gmat last week. got a 710 was happy till i got my awa score its only a 4.

Can you please advice how bad it could be . now should i retake gmat to improve my AWA.


i m an engineer working with Bechtel. have over 4 years of exp. and aiming for Yale, Ohio, Purdue, wake forset, gorgia Tech. MIT

Congratulations on your 710. Your AWA score is not low enough to be the cause of concern. Assuming that you can implicitly prove pforiciency in English, I would simply move on with the rest of my application, if I were you.
