Re: Q12 - : Poor nutrition is at the root...

I've watched the HW video and I've read through this thread. But, I'm still a little confused. I got it right when doing it on my own, but I wasn't very confident. I get A, B, and C being wrong, so no issues there. But, I still really want to choose D. I think I know why I'm caught though. When taki...

Re: Reading material

This is my weakest section, so I've been thinking about trying to read from things like the economist. Is there any quick way to determine which articles to choose? Or, should pretty much any of them do? How much time should I spend on this compared to other studying? I was thinking of aiming for 1 ...

Taking multiple PT's at once

One of my issues on the June LSAT was endurance. When taking PT's, I didn't do writing samples nor did I do an experimental section. I saw advice somewhere that taking 2 PT's back to back can be a good idea. Does anybody do this or recommend it? Is it better to gradually work my way up to 2 PT's in ...

Re: Q12 - Poor nutrition is at the root

Yeah, I think that makes sense. I think that I intuitively know that E is a better choice than D. I just struggle articulating it, which probably costs me points when my intuition is off. As for the conditional, is it safe to assume that I can't use that unless they give me an actual "if/then&q...

Re: Diagram

I'm going to ask a really vague question, and it may be that the answer is just that I need to practice these more. I've been doing really well on the ordered numbering, but this one through me for a loop because of the 2 that aren't used. Eventually, I came up with the same diagram, but it took me ...

Re: Diagram

Thanks for the diagrams. I had the same diagram as Angela, but didn't make the inference that X could only appear once. That makes perfect sense in hindsight, but I was going nuts trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Necessary and Sufficient Assumption Drill from the Book

If it's not OK to post things from the Manhattan books here, I apologize. Please delete. On page 98-99 of the LR Strat Guide there is a N/S Assumption Drill. I struggled a little bit with it, but generally understood my mistakes after reading the explanations. However, I don't understand this one: 4...

Re: Necessary and Sufficient Assumption Drill from the Book

ohhhh. That makes sense. I wasn't negating it; I was going to the polar opposite.

Thanks!!!

Struggling with Science passages

RC is my worst section, by far, as is, but I'm really struggling with science passages more than others. I think I struggle, in part, because the terminology is foreign to me. Then, I allow that to overwhelm me to the point I have trouble following the structure of the passage. One suggestion in the...
