Re: Q3 - Allowing everyone to voice personal views

So the two sentences in the stimulus are talking about the same thing? I thought the discrepancy is as we know free speech inhitis some from voicing their concerns, why should we still allow free speech? In that way, we need to find an advantage unrestricted free speech has, and probably overweigh t...

Re: Q21

Why can't E be correct? the general language is the reason why it is hard to interpret in practice. isn't that where the problem is? and the author does not seem to like the generalization.

Re: Q7 - If cold fusion worked

Only when personnel costs are unrelated means personnel costs is a large portion of any residential electric bill, then E makes sense, because if personnel costs constitute 80-90% of the whole cost, then no matter how much cost the cold-fusion can save the material cost, it does not matter to the wh...

Re: Q9 - Consumers are deeply concerned

another thought, is it because C acutally talks about making new plastic and new glass, which could be different than recycling, that made C irrelevant to this argument core?

Re: Q9 - Consumers are deeply concerned

Thanks for the explaination. But I don't have knowledge of plastic or glass recycling. I take "the manufacture of new plastic depletes oil reserves" as not environmental friendly, and that explains why people don't recyle plastic as much as glass, of which the recycling uses renewable reso...

Q18 - In order to determine automobile

why is B the answer?

Does YET always introduce a conclusion?

I know the sentence "After all....." was to prove "Yet these.....", but it was hard for me to say this is the main conclusion of the argument.

Please help to analyze.

Re: Q7 - If cold fusion worked

We are expecting that replacing all the traditional electric generators that use these fuels with cold-fusion power plants would result in a significant reduction (much more than 25%) in the average residential electric bill. But it only reduce 25%. Is this the discrepancy? I think if the personnel ...

Re: Q13 - Committee member: We should not

Then what is the meaning and function of "Leadership must be established from the top down". does it imply that the principle we use for the top leadership positions also apply to other leadership positions? that's why I thought D is better. otherwise, the argument does not need to include...

Re: Q7 - The population of a certain wildflower

ok. So the argument is talking about the wildflower-daisy hybrids will replace the wildflower.
But the domesticated daisy still exist independently.

So if there's any negative effect, it is for the wildflower not the domesticated daisy. that's why we cannot choose E? or it is completed not negative?
