Q10

by esthertan0310 Sun Apr 05, 2015 6:07 am

I answered this question correctly, "D", but didn't know exactly why D was correct.

I ended up with these frames:

G F H J L/K L/K
K H J [F-G, L]

I found that in both frames, J was more expensive than L, therefore I chose "D". But if that was the reason, then the question would be written as "which one of the following MUST be true?". :?

10. If K - H - J then what CBT?

Rules:

1 2 3 4 5 6 F G H J K L

H - L

IF G - H --> J with a split to K and L (frame 1)

IF H - G --> K with a split to J and L (frame 2)

G - F - H or H - F - G

Conditional Drawing

If K comes before J, then H comes before G (frame 2), and F has to go between H and G:

/ (H) - F - G
K - H - J
/ - L

*/ and (H) is placeholding for format, since I can't draw the tree splits here

So:
F - H? no
G - F? no
G - H? no (frame 2 + rule 4)
J - L? maybe, either could go last (so could G)
L - K? no

Not expecting a reply on this one, unless I messed up. Mainly talking it out to help myself focus.
