Hi, when I read the question and saw the image, I assumed that angle ACB is right angle because it was not written that "figure not drawn to scale". What should I do in the GMAT axam? can I assume right angle? Why the comment "figure not drawn to scale" is not there? and one more...

Hi, The DS question below is from MAN CAT exam. I didn't find it in another thread. Is x·|y| > y^2? (1) x > y (2) y > 0 It is extremely tempting to divide both sides of this inequality by y or by the |y|, to come up with a rephrased question of "is x > y?" However, we do not know the s...

Hi, I understand the solution BUT the figure (posted in the beginning of this thread) is confusing. When I read the question and saw the image I immediately answered S=sqrt(3). Why the authors of the question didn't add the comment "figure not drawn to scale" ? How should I use the figures...

So is there a mistake in the official answer given by Manhattan Gmat below?
