y(x-5/2) = y

y(x-5/2) - y =0

y(x - 5/2-1) = 0

thus
either : y =0

or : x= 7/2

If we were given that y is positive integer we would have directly cancelled out y on both sides. But since we aren't told that y is positive we have to substract y on both sides and so on.

this is a special idiom. if you preface someone's name with a noun describing their occupation (or other word describing what that person does ), WITHOUT AN ARTICLE, you DO NOT use a comma. if there's an article, you DO use a comma. if it's an adjective, you DO use a comma. example: Jazz pianist an...

Can anybody tell me how to eliminate D and E. I have seen some correct responses in which "with " is used correctly. Is there any grammatical rule where sentences using 'with' can be correct. Please tell me; my test is with in 2 days. Thanks.
